JX-618 is a composite product of organic bromine and non-ionic fungicides. It is an efficient and broad-spectrum non oxidizing biocide that is fast and long-lasting in killing bacteria (such as sulfate reducing bacteria, iron reducing bacteria, etc.), fungi, and algae. It can be used as an effective bactericide, algal killer, and sludge inhibitor in oilfield water injection, papermaking water, and industrial cooling water treatment.

It has a long duration of sterilization and antibacterial activity, and is suitable for a wide range of pH values.
